Job Overview
We are hiring a Telemarketing Executive for our International Tour Operations team. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, explaining international tour packages, converting leads into bookings, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to international tour package enquiries generated through digital marketing, referrals, and campaigns
- Handle inbound calls related to international group tours and customized FIT packages
- Explain international destinations, itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, visa requirements, and pricing clearly to customers
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings or qualified leads for the sales team
- Follow up with customers on quotations, documentation, payments, and travel dates
- Maintain accurate CRM / lead tracking with call notes and follow-up status
- Achieve daily call targets, lead conversion targets, and monthly sales goals
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Visa, and Ticketing teams for smooth closure
- Handle basic objections, rescheduling, and customer concerns professionally
- Ensure confidentiality of customer data and leads at all times
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 12th / Any Graduate
- 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing, travel sales, or tour operations (International exposure preferred)
- Freshers with strong communication skills and interest in travel may apply
- Fluency in Tamil and English (Hindi is an advantage)
- Basic understanding of international destinations, visas, and travel processes
- Comfortable working with targets and follow-up cycles
Preferred Skills
- Experience in international tour sales (Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, etc.)
- Knowledge of travel CRM
- Strong persuasion and closing skills
- Customer-centric attitude and attention to detail
